Pt 100 - platinum resistance thermometer - electrical resistance vs temperature

The linearization equation for the Pt100 thermometer is

Rt = R0 (1 + A t + B t2 + C (t - 100) t3)              (1)

where

Rt = resistance at temperature t  (ohm)

R0 = resistance at temperature 0 oC (ohm)

t = temperature (oC)

A = 3.9083×10–3

B = –5.775×10–7

C = –4.183×10–12 (for temperatures below 0 oC)

C = 0 (for temperatures above 0 °C)
