Addition
Example 1:
2 3/4 = 2 6/8
+ 4 3/8 = 4 3/8
+ 3 1/2 = 3 4/8
= 9 13/8
= 10 5/8
Example 2:
10 7/8 = 10 14/16
+ 12 3/16 = 12 3/16
+ 9 1/4 = 9 4/16
= 31 21/16
= 32 5/16
Subtraction
Example 3:
6 3/4 = 6 6/8
- 4 3/8 = 4 3/8
= 2 3/8
Example 4:
10 3/16 = 10 3/16 = 9 19/16
- 4 3/8 = 4 6/16 = 4 6/16
= 5 13/16
